Half Hundred interested In Proposed Interurban Meet At ‘aneman. Talke But Nothing More May Take Action at Meeting to be He'd Within The Next Two or Three Weeks. Farmers, merchants and others interested in the proposed Craw fordsville — Danville interurban line, the old ‘Bubble Route” gath ered at Kingman, Ind., Monday afternoon for a further discus sion of plans. The meeting was held in the Kingman town hall, or opera house, at two o'clock. Attention was called to the fact that nearly every person owning or controling land adjoining the proposed right of way were in fa vor of the line, though as yet no effort has been made to get op tions on the land necessary for the road. Estimates of the prob able cost of the laying of steel for the forty five miles of road, the hanging of trolley and the cost of poles and other equipment were read and discussed and a com mittee appointed to look further into the matter and devise a plan whereby the necessary funds could be pledged or gathered. This committee is to make a re port at the next meeting which, it is stated will be held in the next two weeks. Commissioners of practically every township through which the line will pass, in Indiana were present at the meeting and were as enthsiastic as any of the others. Frank Koox of this city took the commissioners of Highland town ship, Perrysville, where the line will cross the Wabash river, in his auto. Among others present were the following from Danville: R. A. Stephens, Will Van Val kenburg, Luther Clingan, Ben Clingen, E. J. Kelley, Dr. Walter J. Brown, T. A. Shepard, Her man Brown, Columbus Schats, Mayor Will C.
