The show at the Columbia last week was the best of the season. Large audiences watched every performance and the efforts to please were highly appreciated. Elated by the success of last week, the manager and his excellent assistants have an even better per formance for this week. The same people will be present but in entirely new acts. Wilson and Wilson will have an entire change in their excelent work, while Mon roe St Clair will present many new features in their speciality, among which will be included entirely different statuary pictures. This is an act that was especially pleasing last week, and will be better tonight. The opening act by the entire compay will be a laughable farce entitled ‘Patsy Bolivar” in which Harris and Turpin will be the lead ing characters. The ability of these people to interest and please is so well known that the mere an nouncement of their having a new act will add to the crowds during the week. Additional facilities for keeping the theater cool and pleasant have been added, and the week promises to be a perfect success in every way.
