America Marlin, daughter of Jonathan and Let i tin Clinton, wav bom in Yander-burg county, October 10, 1834, married to Capr,. Daniel G. Thompson, Oct. 27, 1852, by which union there were born unto them nine children, four sons and live daughters, only one of whom are now living, (Miss Hattie), (’apt. Thompson died August 25, 18HJ2, and on the 10th day of April, IS84, she was joined in marriage with Elihu II. Martin who now survives her. In her early infancy her parents moved to Hart township, Warrickcountv, and settled on a farm near Lvnn-* •ville. She died at her home in Lynnvilkv, July 2*3, 1888, in the full triumphs of faith.Her casket was conveyed to the tomb by..... *lt; •*a large concourse of friends who mourn her loss. The funeral sermon was preached by the llev. J. H. Jones of the M. K. church, assisted by iflder Q. G. Hen ling of Winslow, of the Uaptist church.
