POLICE.Union-haU.—W. Harnett, P. ‘ Harnett, and W. Rhodes, were yesterday charged by E. Mears, a patrole, with having in their possession the body of a man of colour, tied up in a sack. , It appears that as Mears was going his round, about two o’clock in the morning, he saw P.. Harnett with a sack on his shoulder, and the other two prisoners with him. He immediately called some others of the patrole to his assistance, and, after some resistance, they secured the prisoners;'when on examining the sack, the body in question'was discovered.
