Ehlers, assis, quartermaster prop erty officer, and crew inspect a load of mattresses. All were completely renovated. ORDNANCE—Above. Maj W. N. Kirkpat rick, ordnance officer, and Lt A. J. Furtell, ordnance supply officer, inspect one of the huge tanks procured for redeployed brig Capt Lloyd O. Thomas, in charge of E co ordnance repair shop, is on top of the ¢ POST ENGINEER—Right, Capt H. A. As perger, assistant post engr., Maj John H. Strange, post engr., and Mr L. T. Matson, engr administrative assistant, inspect one of 35 sets of backstops constructed on ball diamonds. The post engineers recondition ed every building on the post. SIGNAL CORPS—Right, Maj Joseph W. Anderson, signal officer, and Li E. A. Carder, signal corps property officer, make an inspection tour of the signal corps electrical equip ment repair shop. Their job was to put the entire camp's communication system in top working order. Signal also op erates the camp photo lab and film library.
