August 1. says:Ten of the men from the Brown School neighborhood near Bay. who hi plead guilty at the spring term of court to charges (.of night riding and who were allowed to remain on their farms on bail this summer to make crop, came into couft today and were sentenced to terms in the penitentiary. The following were sentenced: Zeke Bowman, twomonths; 11. Adams. Six months; Ed Barber, two months; Arlie Cooper, one year: John Haynes, one year; Everett Kincaide, one year: Harry Winglield. six months; Ed Snow, one year; Bob Story, two months; Lawrence Stanley, two months. Several charges of arson against the men sentenced are held up ponding good behavior after they return from the pen. Judge Johnson announced.A large crowd was in the court room to hear the sentences.
