This time the engine has been given another cognomen No. 2599 and to look at her it can scarcely be recognized that she is the engine that three times went in the ditch causing loss to life and property. The engine has been given a full front truck which, it is believed, will hold her to the track andthe drive wheels have been cut down/six inches now being 78 inch wheels instead of 84. The cylinders have been made over into the H4 model. The last time the engine went into the ditch was near Plano when fireman O. W. Johnson of this city was instantly killed.
