Destructive Fire.AThe barn on the farm of Ed L. Jones, four miles north of Granville, on th.ei Mt. Vernon road, was destroyed by fire, Monday. At about 12 o’clock the barn was seen to be in flames, but it was discovered too late to save anything but the live stock.Thfe barn was 40x40 feet and contained about fifty tons of hay and a number of farming implements; 400 bushels of corn in a crib nearby were also destroyed, and it was with difficulty that two stacks of wheat near the barn were saved.The origin of thje fire is not knoWn but it is supposed to have been spontaneous combustion.
