Two Hundred Attend Moncrieff-Morrison ReunionTwo hundred relatives from far and near attended a Centennial Reunion at a Campsite east of Edmonton on Sunday, July 16th.Queen for the day was Mrs* Maggie Moncrieff from Senlac, Sask., who was 84 years young. Mrs. Maude Williams (Moncrieff), 79, of Edmonton; Mr. Henry Moncrieff, 72, of Westlock; Mrs. Lillian Clements (Moncrieff), 70, of Clyde; Mrs. Manly Moncrieff of Barrhead; and Mrs. Mary Moncrieff of Ribstone were the only ones of the older generation in attendance. Mr. Bill Moncrieff (cousin of the above named), of Edmonton, was also present.Those unable to attend were Mrs. Pearl Dogg (Moncrieff) of Vancouver, Mrs. Katherine McCluskey (Morrison) of Longview, Washington, and Mr. Jim Moncrieff of Boston, Mass.Families arrived from Beaverlodge, Barrhead, Westlock, Clyde, Edmonton, Wainwright, Fabyan, Cadoganj Edgerton, Stettler, Calgary, Bodo, Senlac, Islay and Ribstone. The farthest away point was represented by Mr. and Mrs. Whitehead (nee Isabelle Reinhart) who arrived from Goose-bay, Labrador, en-route to Bagotville, Quebec.Dinner and supper, picnic style, were enjoyed by all and the afternoon was spent reminiscing and getting acquainted.
