Honored guest at a surprise party planned by Bethesda Luth eran church women recently was Rev. T. S. Hanson, the pastor. The event Thursday afternoon at the parish house included gifts and a purse presented as Mrs. Ellen Blom spoke for the women and Mrs. Peter Hegland presented bouquets of flowers to the honor guest. Luncheon was served by the women at the close of the program. “Have Thine Own Way, Lord” will be the theme of the sermon conducted by Rev. Hanson Sunday at 10:10 a. m. at Bethesda Church. Daughters of Bethesda will meet in the church parlors at 8 p. m. Tuesday. Mrs. Reidar Hansen will be the hostess.
