Susan Frances SearsSusan Frances Sears was the dau gtoter of Margaret and Stephen Van Benthusen. She was born Novem. ber 24, 1854 in Wayne County la., and deported from this life on July27, 1945 at the age of 90 years, 8 1 months and 3 days. IHer girlhood was spent in Wayne County. She was united in marriage on November 5, 1882 to George W. Sears who proceeded her in death by six months and one Jay. To this union was born one son Albert VanSears.She leaves to mourn her passing her son and wife, three grandchild ren, Evelyn and Charles at home and Walter, aLl of Russell vicinity also two groat grandsons Ivan and jHarold Sears besides many other relatives and friends. She will be greatJy missed by all who knewher.Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. A. E. Beals Sunday af ternpon at 2:30 at the ConfidenceChristian Church, and interment was made in the Confidence cemetery.
