Daughter of Pace Says He Was Kind to Children. To The Salt ke Herald: In Wednesday's Herald I see in the Park City news about the Pace murder case, that the following facts were brought out at the Inquest: That Mr. ace had been very cruel to his family at some time,and on one occasion a ghbor happened to go to the house and found Pace holding a small child by the feet and hammering Its head against the wall. That is not the truth, as my father never was that brutal. knows: the truth is bad enough without telling Hes about a dead man. There never was a better man to his family when he was not drunk, but whisky made him mean and brutal. It was always my mother he picked on, and not the children. We never called on our neighbors for help at any time EPSY PACE GEORGE. Park City, July 31.
