The Eagle News gives a long and affectionate obituary notice of the Hon, David G. Snover, who died at Port Atkinson, JulylSth. lie was 62 years of age and had been in poor health for some time, but the immediate cau?e of his death was a fall from a step-ladder, upon which he was standing.to make some repairs a.bout his bouse. Funeral services were held the 21st ulfc., from the family residence, and were attended by the impressive ceremonies of the Masonic order.Mr. So over was a native of New Jersey; when a child he moved withhis parents to Michigan, and at IS years of age came to this county and settled in the town of Eagle, where he lived for many years. Later he resided in several Wisconsin towns, and finally in Fort Atkinson, where his death occurred. He was always pro m-inent in public affairs, held a number of town ollicers in Eagle, and was elected to the state legislature in 1S63, Doth in private and in public he was much esteemed for his many admirable qualities of head and heart.
