Glenn Wesley TruelockGlenn Wesley Truelock, age 83, a long time Tucumcari, NM, resident, passed away in Amarillo, TX, on Sunday, July 29, 2012, following an extended illness.Glenn was born October 23, 1928, in Paducah, TX. He had been an active member in the First Baptist Church in Tucumcari, NM. He was retired from the Broce Construction Company. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the New Mexico Quarter Horse Association. He loved horses, fishing, and golf. His favorite times were listening to hie sons play music and helping 4-H children with their horses.Surviving Glenn is his wife, Kay Truelock of Tucumcari; 3 sons, Bobby Glenn Truelock and wife, Marilyn, Kenneth Truelock and wife, Margie and Alan Truelock and wife, Karen; one daughter, Brenda Huntley and husband, Roger; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Eve Hollingshead and husband, Richard; and one brother-in-law, Kerry Murphy.A memorial celebration of Glenn's life will be conducted in the First Baptist Church in Tucumcari, NM, on Thursday morning beginning at 11 ;00 AM with Rev. John Hinze officiating.Following his wishes cremation has already taken place.The family suggests for those who wish, donations should be made to the Odyssey Hospice of Amarillo, TX, in loving memory of Glenn W. Truelock.Services have been entrusted to the Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari, NM. 575 461-3815.
