Morris L MasseyMorris Lloyd Massey, 55, a security guard at Galveston County Memorial Hospital in Texas City, died at thehospital.Funeral services were held July 27 at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Rev. A. L. Byrd officiated. Burial was in Grace Mem-morial Park Cemetery at AltaLoma.Mr. Massey was born July 15, 1919, in Wortham, Texas. He had been a Texas City resident the past 14 years, living at 2202 12th Ave. North.He was retired from the U. S. Army and a veteran of the Korean War. Mr, Massey was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Connie Massey of Texas City; his mother, Mrs. Ophelia Massey of Texas City; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Doris Barlow of Corsicana; and two brothers, J. B. Massey of Goodrich, Texas, and Wylie L. Massey of La Marque.
