Mrs. L. KnottsMrs. LaVfeme Knotts, 50 of 2707 Main St. in La Marque, died July 26 at John Sealy Hospital.Funeral services were held July 28 in the Emken-LintonFuneral Home in La Marque, A. R. Brown officiated. Burial was in Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock.Mrs, Knotts was born March 9, 1924, in Little Rock, Ark.She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Byers of Texas City; three sons, Bob Rivas Jr. of Texas City, Fritz W. Knotts of Pasadena • and Pat H. Knotts of Port Bolivar; four daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Cerace of La Marque, Mrs. Donna Mackie of Yosemite Park, Calif., Mrs. Wanda Cryer of Mountain View, Calif, and Mrs. Joy Denzon of El Paso; four sisters, Mrs. Juanita Presley of La Marque, Mrs. Penny Farley. ofDickinson, Mrs. MarleneOverstreet of Texas City and Mrs. Arlene Peterson of San Antonio; three brothers, Ronnie Byers and Bruce Byers, both of Texas City and Frank Byers of Hitchcock;, and eight grandchildren.
