Mrs. Phyllis Loghry, di rector of the Plano Indepen dent School District's Plan A special education program, will be on the program of the Texas Council for Ex ceptional Children meeting in Houston August 5-7. Mrs. Loghry is scheduled to address a section meeting on August 6, speaking on “Early Childhood Education for the Handicapped’. In formation for her speech was gathered from the Early Childhood program operated last year at Memorial Ele mentary School for 3-5 year old children with learning dis abilities. Keynote address at the meeting will be delivered by Dr. Jo Stanchfield, Professor of Education at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Cali fornia. She will speak on ‘Making the Right to Read a Reality.”
