NOTE INDICATES A’ SUICIDE, Truck Driver Found in His Room Patalty Shot. A man who apparently had been dead since yesterday afternoon was found shot in the left side of his head today in his room at 916 Forest avenue. He was identified as James Reed Woolery, 37 years old, a truck driver for the Kaw Trans port Co., Inc. The body was found shortly after 10 o'clock by William E. Nabb, an other roomer at the Forest address, who saw newspapers under Wool ery’s door and obtained a key from the manager when he was unable to arouse the truck driver. A 45- caliber automatic pistol was found at Woolery’s feet. A note on a table in the room signed by Woolery read: ‘Pat, dear, I've looked everywhere for you. I love you, sweet. Good-by, Reed. P. §.: Hope you make out okay on the insurance. I love you, Reed.” Police today located Miss Pat Thomas, 25 years old, Marshall, Mo., who has been visiting here recently. Miss Thomas said she and Woolery had planned to be married when he obtained a divorce from his wife, Mrs. Hulda Thomas of Marshall. Mrs. Adele DeBlassie, Albuquerque, N. M., who has been visiting friends at 916 Forest avenue, told police she heard a shot at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, but had ignored it. The body was taken to the Passantino Brothers funeral home.
