Baseball fans of this territory, were treated to a big feature ball game last Thursday evening at the local diamond when the “Has Beens” a team sponsored by Al {Heavy} Wielenga and Steve, Huizenga met the “Right Now f or regular Orange City baseball team managed by Ollie Van Cit ters. The result was highly grat ifying to the “Has Beens” as they made 9 runs while the regulars only, garnered 5. The game prov ed to be a lot of fun for both the players and fans and there is some talk of another game in the poor future, just to help decide more thoroughly who is the best. Steve says it sure kept the boys boys busy keeping cold towels on Ollie’s head to help keep his nerv es under control. The fielding of Eddie Schreur and Dr. Dunlop and the pitching of Henry Van Boxtel featured the’ ‘Yas Beens’ Boxtel went the route allowing.6 hits. For the Orange City regulars the hitting of Paul Colenbrander featured. Batteries: “Has Beens”, Van Bextel and R. Eraai, O. C. Colen brander and Meerdink, Substi tutes for the O. C. team J.
