ObituaryHazel L. EdmondsHazel L. Edmonds, 69, of North Liberty, died Tuesday afternoon, April 22 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after a brief illness. She had been employed as an occupational therapist at University Hospital and later worked at University Hospital School.Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 25 at the George L. Gay Funeral Home in Iowa City with burial in Memory G ardensCemetery.A memorial fund has been established.Mrs. Edmonds was born April 16, 1917, in Johnson County, a daughter of Emil and Pearl Ricker Oswald. She married Maynard DeWayne Edmonds on Nov. 25, 1936, inIowa City. He diedMay 9, 1970.
