Freeman Johnson, chairman of the Freeman hospital emergency fund campaign, said Saturday $59,000 has been subscribed in cash and pledges to date and that 1,500 campaign cards still are in the hands of campaign work ers. The hospital is attempting to raise $135,000 to offset a deficit in its operating fund, Johnson said each captain has been ased to check with his workers to make sure that all calls have been made by May 5.
