Ohio, April 25. 1036, at 10:30 ng a.m.ry He was married to Alice C. th McCubbin at Huntington. Oregon, il- on May 31, 1801, and six* children ,r were born of this union, he being | colt; survived by the widow and four children, Mrs. J. F. Tribole and Roy Cottrell of Milford. Mr L*.-eJ udathira-fficbototlit Gray of Cedar City and Dr. W. F., tr:poth*Cottrell of Oxford, Ohio. H wh i Horigan of Prineville, Oregon. | th* •ss Mr Cottrell .began his railroad av | career at The Dalles, Oregon, in; Bo iv- 1887 and, with the exception ofjPo nd two or three years at the begin- mi or ning of the century, served the ; hr re Union Pacific railroad and its pres-1 of! *s- ent subsidiaries continuously until °f is, his retirement in January, 1932. nd He came to Milford August 27, v 190*1, his family following a short •c time later, and has resided here continuously except for a short period spent in Provo, to which iis place he was transferred in May, ur 1930. * imns He was a member of the Odd, he Fellows lodge and the Union Pad- ,v r, fic Oldtimers club. He served one term as president of the Milford Lr- town hoard and one term on the district school board. He had been l'l le an uetive member of the M. K. ^ n- church since it was organized ed here and had been a genorou supporter of school, church and community activities, it being a very rare thing for Mr. and Mr.-.
