'[Allen Says Project Would Leave* * * • 1 ■ * * i 1 •Muskogee Out of Scheme Of Tourist TravelFollo^ng up its action oflast summer in opposing the county's appropriation of $45,-000 for the Grand river bridge into Fort Gibson, the Muskogee County Taxpayers league today protested strongly against the,county promising $75,000 to $100,000 for the bridge in next year's budget.The proposed bridge would serve less than 1300 acres of land in Muskogee county andhalf of this is waste land, according to J. N. Allen, president of the league, who directed letters to all embers of the excise board concerning the action.
