Was Native of Greene County—Inven tor of Fast Printing Press. William Bullock, a former resident of Greene county, where he was wide ly known as a very ingenious mechan ic, died in Philadelphia last week. Mr Bullock, the inventor of the fast news paper press bearing his name, was adjusting some parts of a press which he was building for The Ledger, when he was caught by the belting, a leg and foot being shockingly mangled.) The press which Mr Bullock is the inventor of is to print both sides of the paper and cut and count the sheets at the rate of 15,000 perfect copies, per hour. It takes up very little room, requires no feeders and but few, attendants, the paper being fed from a roll. He was 53 years of age.
