Another Pioneer Gone.—We tire called upon this week to perform a sad, painful duty. Charles A. Grignon, one of Wisconsin's pioneers, is no more, lie died at his residence at Kankauna, on Friday, the 18th inst., after au illness of but 24 hour-', in which he endured ail that pain could indict. He was was born at Kaukauna in tie year 1807, and was therefore 55 years ot age. lie has filled important stations under the National Government, iu the State, and was treasurer of Outagamie county iu 1853 54. lie was ever a liable, kind uqO genial; always ready to extend the hand of a»istance to the needy and unfortunate; his honor was unimpeachable, his powers of mind, qualities of heart and genuine refinement, always made him loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a kind father, a tiue husband, a reliable friend, and a good citizen.
