VKredei, Edwin Rufus ■»March 16, 1»32 - April 15. 2016Edwin “Eddiepassed away on April 15, 2016 at the age of 84 due to complications from Parkinson s. He was born in Santa Ana to Stella Haiesworth and Bill Kredei and lived in Santa Ana his entire life Ed was a proud Santa AnaHigh School graduate, and attended Santa AnaCollege and Long Beach State University He served in the Air Force during the Korean War stationed in Okinawa. He spent his career in the Icar business and retired from GMAC after 30 years and in retirement, he became the co-owner of the Green Parrot Cafe. Eddie loved sports including coaching his son's Little League teams for many years. He enjoyed traveling both near and far and loved the water. He enjoyed both surfing and skiing and loved the beach as much as he loved the mountains, and continued to ski into his 70 s Eddie will always be remembered for the many years hewas Santa for the local children, his family and friends, he trulywas the best Santa ever1 He is survived by his wife Joyce Rivera Kredei. daughter Analee Kredel-Speer and son-in-law Edwin Speer, son Edwin F and granddaughter Hannah Kredel-Speer I Survived also by his brother Frank and nephews Eric and Kurt j along with Almonde Kredei He is also fortunate to have gained an extended family including Clay Barrett (Lillian). Hillary Barrett (Richard), Tracy Barrett. Joan .DeRoock Dirk), Josh, Sydney Anya Bennett, Kersey, Coco. Matthew and Bradley Eddie was !loved by many and is fortunate to have many lifelong friends including his friend for 75 years Chuck Winkler (Ann) A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, April 25. 2016 2 30 PM at Fairhaven Cemetery Waverty Chapel. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Assistance League of Santa Ana 1037 W 1st Street Santa Ana CA 92703 in the name of Ed Kredei
