Mar-— quis Sr. 70, didd unexpectedly Wednesday morning at his home on the Old Brunswick road.’'--He was born Dec. 10, 1905. in Chelsea, the son of Vital and Phebe Mayor Marquis.Mr. Marquis was a rtired maintenance foreman, and was employed by R. P. Harm'd Shoe - Company for over-40 years. He was a member of the Shoe Executives of Maine.% He is survived by three sons, Edward J. Marquis Jr. of ^ hA.‘-cr.cc, Maas Richard Marquis of Gardiner and Norman. Marquis of, Moulton Hive sisters, , Mrs. Gertrude *M$fediey of Gardiner, Mrs. Ella Gardiner of Windsor, Mrs. Aurelia French of Torrance, Calif., Mrs. Grace Howard of Fairfield and Mrs, Blanche McCracken of Torrance, Calif.; one brother, Daniel Marquis of Connecticut; eight grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from 39 Washington Ave.. Gardiner.MARQUIS. Edward J Sr - died Wednesday. Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m at Amesbury-White Funeral Home 39 Washington Ave.. Gardiner, whre services will be held Friday at 2 p m.
