Whitfield of Bedford RD 3 and a 1967 graduate of Bedford q High School. He enlisted in the army in July. 1968 and let Feb. 17, 1969 for Vietnam.Pfc. Whitfield was serving as a tj rifleman for the 201st Airborne atCamp Fagle near the de-militar-ized zone.
