Harvey Ring, who played quar terback for three University of Minnesota national championship football teams, will be the main speaker at the Albert Lea Lions Achievements banquet next Mon day. Ring, who now manages a book store in Minneapolis, played for the Gophers in 1934-36. He holds Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees from Minnesota. Ring coached and taught at Pipestone and Faribault high schools, and served four years in the Navy. The banquet is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday at the First Lutheran church.
