Patricia Powell of Pasadena High School and Rob Avery of La Canada Junior High yester day were named grand prize winners in the annual Pasadena City College Faraday Science Lecture Contest. Earlier this month science students of Pasadena School District participated in the con test on the PCC campus. Dr. William H. Pickering, director of the Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory, spoke to them on “Rockets, Missiles and Satel lites.” Students took notes on his task and submitted them for judging.
