EXCELLENT RECORDEighth Grade ii Found to Re Remarkable Class In Many WaysY\ it It the largest and strongest class that tti't graduated from the Cedar public schools, the closing exercises of the school were held last night under the able direction of Principal Miss Frances H Fenton. V song, “Pilgrim Chorus, by the graduating class was first on the program. Prayer was offered by Itishop Win. R, i’aimer. Jasmine Lewis, mu: of the honor graduates, gave the salutatory. The class his-lory was next given by Helen Foster, another honor student. The class poem written by Harold Ada m s w as rcc i ted 1 y I. u ree t la rd ner. another honor winner. The class then sang their class song, written by another honor student, L addie Rollo, I *111 a Gardner offered the class prophecy and l.ydia Math eson presented the Class Will. 1 rank knpp, another from the honor roll, gave the valedictory. Co. Superintendent H. Claude hew is then addressed the graduates, and Richard A. Thorlcy, president of the board of education, presented the diplomas. There was a closing , chorus by the class. Mrs. William M, Mace was the accompanist for all the singing,i'here are thirteen names on the r honor roll, as follows:Thurman Pryor, Caddie Rollo, Jasmine Lewis,Helen Foster.Calhic , Williams, Durrall Corry, Romola , Dailey, l.urec Gardner, Willard Cum.
