SPEAKS ON SUFFRAGEMrs. Gertrude Miller Says Question Is Economical, Not PoliticalMrs. Gertrude Breslau ;Fuller in her speech last night on woman suffrage at the Chestnut street auditorium declared that the question is an economical, not a political one.“If the women of this State were actually to ‘stay at-home,’ as the antisuffragists urge,” she said, “industry would be paralyzed. It would be an economic tragedy. They are not at home now; they are in factory, shop and mill, earning just about half what a man could get for the same work.”
