leHAS BEEN GIVEN THE POTTER’S FIELD AT EABLHAM CEMETERY.GRADING IS COMPLETEDPLACE LOOKS BETTERWork Has Been Carried on Since the First of the Y.ear and at a Very Reasonable CoBt to the City, Everything Considered. The final survey of the Potter's field, EarJbara cemetery, has been made by City Engineer Charles. The grading of the field has been completed and it now a very creditable place in which to bury the public dead. The cause of the regrading was the poor drainage, water standing on a level at which the dead were placed at certain times of the year, making conditions very undesirable. However, with the addition of four feet of soil to the field, this condition will be avoided in the future. The work has been carried on since the first of the year and at a very reasonable cost to the city considering the need of the improvement.’
