SENATOR SUTHERLAND DEAD.Winnipeg, April 27.—Senator John Sutherland, of Kildenan, panned peacefully away about 9 o’clock yesterdar after a lingering illness in the 78th year of his age. Senator Sutherland was a prominent figure in the Selkirk settlement, and had been in public life almost continuously since about 1868.
