Hlghlud.April 20th. 1802.Geo. Brynjulson left Tuesday for Wells county. North Dakota, to look after his extensive farming interests in that portion of the state.Messrs. Ulrickson and Broach man were in Canton transacting business last Saturday.Misses Carrie Helvig and Belle Sandvigof Canton, were Highland visitors last Sunday.Mrs. Ole Tun Hand is very ill and there is but little hope for her recovery.Miss Enga llclnertson finished a very successful term of Norwegian school, in district No. 7 Jast Thursday and departed the folloiwng day for her home near Bristol, South Dakota.Andrew Steensland departed for Vermillion last week to resume his studies at the University.Christopher Sandvig left for Sioux Citylast Monday, to accept a position In some office. 11 is many Highland friends wishhim success in his new vocation.Mary Strand, who has been visiting with her parents for the past two months, took Tuesdays train for Sioux Falls, where she grx s to fill her former ° position at Hie Commercial House,Mrs. John Lien sr. of Chas. Mix county. is visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Peter KneW. She will, at the same time consult some able physician. :i here, in regard to her health. !*•
