Gary Lynn Tousha, 15-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Tousha Jr., Star Route Silsbee,, received bodly pulled muscles in his left knee and a disloca ted knee cap about 5:15 p. m. Saturday when his motorscoot er was completely demolished after collision with a car driven by Mrs. Robert McGhin. The accident occurred im mediately in front of Ash worth’s Grocery, about two miles north of Silsbee on High way 92. He was headed north, apparently on the shoulder, when the car driven by Mrs. McGhin, which was headed south, attempted a left turn. The car struck the scooter, throwing Tousha to the ground and demolishing his scooter. Highway Patrolman N. W Barrow investigated. According to young Tousha’'s mother, he was returning home from Little League practice at the time of the accident. She said that he was taken to Har din Memorial Hospital in Kountze by Farmer Funeral Home ambulance for treatment of the leg injuries. He was re turned home Saturday night. Mrs. Tousha added that, be sides the injuries to the left leg, he also has deep bruises on the right knee and ankle. He will be confined to bed for sev eral weeks with a partial cast on his left leg. Several stitches were taken to close a cut on the left knee and doctors are currently studying X-rays of the leg to determine full ex tent of the damage. Mrs. Tou sha stated that their doctor had said partial stiffening of the knee could result.
