PAPAGO LANES 1340 SOUTH SCOTTSDALE ROAD (SCOTTSDALE PALM LANE) WITH FALL SEASON STARTING SEPT. 1, 1960 PAPAGO LANES, the first modern bowling establishment in the Scottsdale area, is now taking reservations for the 1960 fall season. There are leagues for -- men, women and mixed -- both night and daytime. Openings are avail able in: * 9:00 P.M. 9:00 P.M. Monday Monday Thursdays 6:30 P.M. Thursdays 9:00 P.M. Friday 9:00 P.M. Ladies Scratch -- 760-790 Mens Scratch -- 840-860 Mens 825-840 Mens Motor Handicap Mens Scratch -- 890-920 Ladies daytime leagues are at 9:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M., with trios, foursomes and five member teams. Registering may be made for any by phoning PAPAGO LANES -- WH 5-4548. PAPAGO LANES, a Carl Silver Enterprizes operation, operators of Thunderbird and Wagon Wheel Lanes, is under the managership of Stan Hruby, veteran bowler and secretary of the Greater Phoenix Bowling Association for the past seven years. General Manager of the Silver Enterprizes is Harry Dixon, who has been president of the same association the past two years. PAPAGO LANES is of the most modern design, blending with the general motif of the west’s most western town, Scottsdale. There are 32 lanes completely equipped with the latest Brunswick Bowling equipment, including the underground cluster ball return, all refrigerated, a pro shop, billiard room, supervised play area, both indoors and outdoors. Helsings will operate coffee shop, dining room, cocktail lounge, and banquet room for both the leagues and the public. This rounds out complete entertainment facilities for the entire family.
