MARINE OFFICER CANDIDATES get together to talk over Marine training with recently commissioned University graduates. Eyeing those gold bars and insignia are (left to right) senior Platoon Leaders Class members Roy DeForest and Ed Staats, 2nd Lt. David Henderson, 2nd Lt. Jackie B. Boone, and junior PLC Mike Cotten. Both lieutenants were graduated here in 1959. Lt. Boone is back on campus to talk with students interested in becoming officers in the Marine Corps. He will see students from 9 to 4 through Friday in the ROTC Building.
