Heaven City Apiary Receives Million Bees to Begin New SeasonA shipment of more than a million bees, likely the largest consignment ever received at one time, arrived last Friday over the Chicago- North-Western railroad for Heaven City, located southeast of this city*The larger honey raisers of the northern states and Canada, including the Heaven City apiary, are experimenting with a new plan that has to do with what is termed the wintering of bees, Bach hive uses about-50 pounds of honey tor-food during the winter.In the Heaven City apiary, where in the past 100 hives have been maintained, it becomes a question of maintaining the regular supply of bees or killing them off and taking the two and one-half tons of honey to market ,Last fall Aplrist Moore decided to market the supply of honey and the bees were done away with.* Thus this spring it becomes necessary to huy new ones' and* the shipment arrived on April 22.
