There are now 110 stockholders who have pledged approximately $30,000.On Monday evening, April 16, 42 of those stockholders.elected a board.y| directors. The seven member boara includes officers: president, Jim Thacker: vice presdient, Herman Kleen; and secretary-treasurer, Mary Smith. Other board members named were Roger Benjamin, Maynard Wiemers, Karen Altman and Don Crotty.Step number one for the board is to begin the legalities of forming a corporation, according to Thacker. Board members will also begin collecting the pledge money from the stockholders fli the community.When asked about the location of the new business, Thacker said that the board is currently looking into the possibility of purchasing a now vacant building on highway 3 in Gilmore City.No decision in regard to who will manage the restaurant has been made. Thacker stated that applications for the position will be taken at a later date. The board will then make a final decision from the applications received.The drive for funds for the new business is still in progress, with the board's goal of $40,000 now in sight. Anyone interested in purchasing shares for the restaurant can contact any of the Gilmore City Development Corporation board members.
