RaHi Beem Fwni Dead This Morning' Mrs. Ruth K. Deem. 56, Rl. 1 5 Thornton was found dead in bee {his morning at about 6:15 a.m. j by her husband James G. Deem, She was pronounced dead bj ' Coroner P.E. Lucas.1 John Waters, prosecuting at-' torney and Taylor County Sher-•tf James Fawcett investigated the death and found that the death was due to natural causes, apparently a heart attack.She wa3 a member of the I Free Methodist Church in Riv-.esville and had lived in Florida for the past 20 years. She had .returned to ttus area about two yeans ago.She was born in Webster I Springs, April 16, 1916, a daugh-I ter of the late Patrick and Emma Woods Daugherty.She and her husband have two children, James J. Deem, Thornton, who owns and operates the Inwood Tea Room and the Elm Lee Lodge there, and Donald L' Deem of RL 1, Thornton.Other survivors include: four grandchildren, Mrs Deanna Hartley, Mrs. Janet Vincent, Mrs. Patricia Digman and Shelia Deem; and three great grandchildren; a brother Clarmont Daugherty, Burton, Ohio and three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Hol-com, Akron, Ohio; and Rose and Ruby Daugherty, Greensboro N. C.Three sisters and two brothers are deceased, James, Owen, Dorothy, Hazel and Mary- Ann
