CHORAL MUSICPROGRAM EXPANDSThe 1971 72 school year wif . include an expansion in the area of choral music on the PSUC campus. To the already established College Chorale, Women's Concert Choir and Cardinal Male Chorus will be added the PSUC Chamber Singers and Recorder Consort. This organization, as well as the others, are open to all PSUC students regardless of their major. The Chamber Singers and Recorder Consort will function as a touring organization. At present consideration is being given to the possibility of a European concert tour at the end of the next school year.Members of all the choral organizations will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of programming that is being planned to include: AnnualWinter Choral Concert, an Oratorio Concert, Chamber Singers and Recorder Consort Home Concert, Choral Pops Concert, participation in the Winter World Games. Ponding funding a concert is scheduled with the. Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.'In order to make next year's plans more concrete, auditions for the Chamber Singers and Chorale wMt take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday, April 26, 2t and 39 in Fine Arts 1140 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No auditions are required for membership in Women's Concert Choir or Cardinal Male chorus.
