The Rev. Orville K. Bosse gave the invocation, and Emma Ottoson the Welcome. Miss Cole then introduced William “Cat Johnson, captain of the football team, James Perry, captain of the basketball team, Coach Walter Minder of the Al-Wood Junior high school, and Dan-Hegwood who assisted Coach Turner during games, all of whom gave brief remarks.Coach Elery “Gabby. Boynton of Knox college was introduced and gave a very interesting talk concerning - his coaching experiences, and pointed out the responsibilities of players toward their coach, responsibilities of fans, and*'responsibilities of the coaching staff. He definitely placed the building of -boys above winning games. His remarks were received enthusiastically by the large audience.
