MERCER COUNTY MAN SUICIDESIra Elliott, a farmer living northwest of Ravanna, was found dead last Wednesday momng having taken hla own life. His body was found hanging from a limb of a tree near tho home.Mr Elliott had been in ill health for some time and had been. laJcfeg treatments for his ailments. Wednesday morning he started from the house to feed his stock. Mrs. Elliott insisted on going with him but he asked her not to go. After he had been gone several hours and did not return she became alarmed and called some of the neighbors. A search waa made and his body was found about a ouarter of a mile from the house. He had tied a rope around a limb of a tree about nine feetfrom the ground and then tied the other end of the rope around hisneck. His feet were both on the ground and it appeared as if he had choked himself to deathMr and Mrs. Elliott have been residents of the Ravanna neghborhood about forty yearR and are highly respected people — Princeton Post.
