The health of our community is fairly good at present. Professor Griffin closed his school .Friday night, April 13, with a concert which was real good. A large crowd was present and all enjoyed them selves immensely. Mr. Will Ragon gave the youngsters a party Saturday night and everyone had their share of the fun. Miss Zelma Owens spent Saturday and Sunday with Miss Inez, Grantom, Mr. Hardy Brooks and Mr. Wes Warren spent Sunday with Mr.’ Odi, and Bonnie, Ragon, Master Tommie Mann of Corsicana is, spending a few days with Master Robert Penn, Miss Inez Grantom spent Sunday evening with Miss Johnnie May Penn. Misses Lorene and Eunice Hardman spent Sunday evening . with Miss Florence Broley. Miss Florence Campbell ‘of Pansys attended the party at Mr. Ragon's. , Mr. William Bunch attended the’ concert at Cottonwood. Miss Lorene Hardman spent Thurs day with Miss Blanche and Mae Penn. Mgr. Miss Winnie Ragan visited at Mr. Penn's one day last week, Mr. Tom Tadlock and family moved into our community Monday evening.
