Funeral of Mr*. Hattie Granger Stnr-art, Mculn^ltlN Vk’tJra, In Held ntBenjamin,[Special to The- HefAld-Rfcpubllcan.]Spanish Fork, April 21k—The most largely attended funeral ever held at Benjamin was that of Sirs, Hattie Granger Stewart, wife of Luther Stew--art,. Spinal meningitis was the cause Of her death, fSirs. Stewart was born 28 years ago In the southern part of Utah, She mar* ried Luther Stewart about ten years ago and has since then resided at Benjamin. Mrs. Stewart was an earnest worker In the church, being a leader In the work of the Relief society and also president of tho Primary association, John T. Hand, a lifelong friend, sang1 two eolos and several numbers wore; given by students of the Brigham Young university at Provo, Tho Benjamin choir also furnished appropriate selections, Bishop John Johnson, Elijah X* Hawkins and Enoch Ludlow spoke of the excellent character and fine qualities,of the deceased* Thomas Ludlow offered tho invocation and James Hand pronounced the benediction. There were many beautiful floral offerings. Interment. was In tho Benjamin cemetery*In addition to widower, tho deceased is* survived by two little daughters Melba and Dona, aged 9 and 0 years.
