Watson married Miss Sarah Ann McAllisterThey resided in Fort Gaines until 1831, when he died near Apalachicola bay, on his return from Mobile, and was buried at Fort Gadsden. He left no children. His widow married the I late Richard C. Spann, formerly of1 this county, but later of Franklin, Ala.
