Eighteen mules that coat 04,200 or a fraction over $2% apioce, were ship ped from Fulton to the Maxwell- Groved Mule Company, Monday, hav e Mog been picked up in the Kingdom by John M. Vivian and consigned to the firm's headquarters in St. Louis It was the most oearly car load of mules ever went out of the county, and inclucted eighteen of the best ‘mules that money and good judgment could buy. Some were of the type that showed the draft class in their make-up, while others wore the kind that have plenty of alxe, with folsh that made up for their lack of bone, and taken altogether, they were a grand lot. The top-price pair of the shipment was a couple bought of D. V. Hamilton, of Grand Prairie, at 2600, both excellent animals showing the heavy horse cross on the dam's side, and a matcd team of aray six year old mare miles sold by S. D. Whyte, of Tebbatts, at 6900, were considered entitled to second place, with a trio sold by Ea Shelay, at #750, giving them a close run for the honor. These are the mules that made the car lead, with the names of the gen tlemen who sold them and the prices they got: One of Felix Bryan, New Bloomfold, #230; John 'T. Bryan, New Bloomfield, one, 6225;T. B. Black ‘bum, Fulton, two, 75; D. W. Muir, Fulton, one, 6186; 5. D. Whyte, two, #500; J. W. Clayterbuck, New Bloom field, two, 6440, W. 8. Vivian and D. W.
