GilfordCorrespondence of The Witness and News.)Resolution of Condolence — We, th$ brothers and sisters of Gilford I. O. G..T., take this opportunity of expressing ouy sympathy, and of giving a few consoling words to our sister Eva, and to our brother Frank Hughes, on behalf of their recent bereavement. We deem it ouy duty as brothers and sisters to help you to bea^r your burden of sorrow. Doubtless a sadder thing could not happen than a death to enter a peaceful fani ily and take away one of the Hock, even though it be a mere infant. But is that to be compared with having a mother, the flower, the very life of the home, taken away ? Therefore you, Eva and Frank, have our deepest sympathies, but at the same time we would remind you that she who has been so affectionate and endearing to you, has gone to those happy realms where there is no bereavement or sorrow. Surely it will be a pleasant thought to think that after this life of sorrow is over you will meet her in her eternal home, there to renew the old affection and live as one united family. We will be pleased to sec our brother and sister again in our lodge, and notwithstanding their sad loss, to continue to be active members as they have ever been. 'Signed on behalf of Gilford I. 0. G.
