Killed.Last Tuesday witnessed one of themost shocking accidents that this sec* tion ever witnessed. The victim was the wife oi Mr. Haul Dutton. Mrs. Dutton was loved and respected by all who knew her, she was a pious Christian lady and a warm and tender wife and mother. While the elements were thaeatenlng a severe storm, and the lightening was flashing vividly, followed by God’s artillery, this noble woman had occasion to step out in the yard to call someone, and there, in her innocence and happiness .she was struck by lightening, no time being given her to lisp His holy name in prayer. She was Just In the prime of life, a young wife and the mother of a dear little babe. She was preceded only one week by her noble mother, who was a model lady. They both were laid in the lonely cemetery fust north of town. We deeply sympathise wtih Mr. Dutton and the bereaved relatives and friends, and commit them to the tender mercies of the allwise God for consol in eal Fear the Lord, do his commandments, and meat the loved ones above.As yon am now so once was I,As I am now so you must be,Prepare for death and follow me.
